You're so Vain, I bet you think this blog is about you!

(blog title change thanks to the ones who commented and got it stuck in my head! haha)

First off, I was to thank everyone for commenting on my blogs. I love writing my blogs, and it's one of those things.. if you don't like what I have to say.. No one is forcing you to read it.

I know you're sitting there wondering "What the heck are you getting at?!" So I'll get to it.

I write about my own feelings, my own experiences, my own beliefs and Military life as a Navy wife. When I blog, I am not blogging about anyone. I will blog about situations I see (usually lots of the same situations until it builds up and triggers a blog), and I blog about my beliefs. Like my last blog, things I see happening triggered me to write on my beliefs. My belief being that  No one, military wife or not, should put their personal confrontations with their husband out there for the world to see on Social Networking sites, this include harsh name calling. This is just my belief and everyone has their own beliefs. You have the option to agree with me. And you don't have to agree with me in the comments you send. We were given something called "Free will", meaning you are your own person. I like hearing other's take on things, even if it means disagreeing with me.

Ok, that is still not the main point of this. Evidently {exaggerated), 2 of my blogs are a little too "touchy". My blogs "Making Problems Public Domain" and "Blame Yourself", have sparked a little unwanted drama. And no, it's not here on Blogger. Someone, somehow got it in their head that both blogs were about them. When in all actuality, my blogs are about noone. I take that back.. there are a few about me and my husband, so Technically they are about MY LIFE. Repeat: My Blogs are about MY feelings, My experiences, My >beliefs< and being a Navy wife. Nothing else.

So, if anyone thinks anything I write is about you.. well, then maybe you have some personal guilt that ties you in with what I post about. BUT it WAS NOT WRITTEN ABOUT YOU. YOU made it about yourself. (Guess that makes you selfish?).

And to end this, this post was to clear up any "Confusion" if there was someone else out there who is hellbent over this being about them. Once again, this isn't about you.

End rant.

  3. Your title should say....

Your so Vain....I bet you think this blog is about you. :)

Funny the people who are so convinced that you are blogging for them probably spend more time talking and thinking about you than you ever spent talking and thinking about them.

Just my experience from having evil ex-inlaws!

  5. I am so changing the title now!! haha

I have to agree with you, I can't think of any other reason! I seriously think some ppl thrive on drama and negativity. I don't need nor do I want that in my life. So I will keep on smiling, being me typical chipper self :)

    Ewww... Evil ex-inlaws! Scccarry!
I bet that is NEVER a good situation.

  9. Oh man...can I just say I'm sooo super thankful I'm not concerned at all that your blogs don't pertain to me so I'm definitely not worried that they are about me...how humiliating for someone to be convinced a blog is about them because they bad mouth their husbands...what a shame!

  10. Wow! I completely agreed with your "rant" the other day about social networking! Don't air dirty laundry and what goes on behind closed doors stays there! ESPECIALLY when it comes to a command or your husbands friends/coworkers seeing it!

I guess someone has an ego problem if they think all you have time to do is blog about them! If we could all be so lucky to have our lives dramatized through the eyes of a frenemy.

  11. I just found your blog. I think some people thrive on drama and don't know how to realte to people without it. I love the picture at the end too. I think I used that saying in one of my blogs as well- kind of a similar topic too. ;)

  12. I am the same exact way. Generally the same type of things trigger me to write about my beliefs on things. You are right that everyone has a right to their own opinion. At least you are ok with listening.

I have agreed with your statements about the social networks. I have actually had a blog or two about the same type things, actually. So I totally know how you feel and understand why you feel the way you do.

Also, if these people think that anything you write is directed at them, then yes they muct have a guilty concious. And if they don't like that, then they are the ones that have to change it. Not anyone else.

  13. A Marine's Wife, Exactly my thoughts too.

haaggx5, I found it pretty entertaining as well ;)

Tiffanie, I agree so very much! And I LOVE that quote!

homewifey, I don't think people realize how bad it reflects on their husbands.. or even themselves. It's quite sad.

fancypants, Glad ya found me! Hope you enjoy some of what I have to say :)
I think some people do thrive on drama.. or that it's just that they are so immature and are stuck in their petty high school ways!
The image made me smile when I found it.. I knew it was perfect! I'm going to have to check out your blog! :D

Mrs. Ma'am, I love having and opinion... and I LOVE blogging about it, and my beliefs as well. I've always been a pretty good listener.. now there are a couple things that I believe that I don't agree with anyone else's opinion on and will not listen to the alternative (ie. Cheating, Animal Cruelty... etc. -not good topics to get me on a rank on! haha)
And you are so right. They are the only reason they let my post bother them. They are to blame, not me.
